OUR COMPANY

Dimecar S.A.S was founded on January 13, 1995, in Cartagena, following an analysis and study conducted by the future partners and in response to a business opportunity with Siderúrgica de Boyacá S.A. for the reactivation and startup of the hot rolling mill at the plant located in Cartagena. Based on the experience and positive results achieved in the execution of this project, an outsourcing contract was signed for operation and maintenance with a one-year term, subsequently renewed for three consecutive years.

Driven by the partners’ vision, supported by their experience, infrastructure, and financial capacity, DIMECAR SAS aimed to expand the provision of these services to the industrial sector. In 1995, with a firm commitment to this goal, the company, based on a market analysis plan, initiated services in engineering, mechanical, electrical, and civil assemblies; construction, maintenance, and repair of API tanks; maintenance of equipment and structures in industrial plants; hotel maintenance; surface cleaning and painting application, for companies located in the Mamonal industrial zone of Cartagena, with the Cartagena Refinery as its primary client.

Throughout its trajectory, the company has successfully expanded its service provision nationwide, developing projects for the country’s leading oil company, ECOPETROL S.A., in Santa Marta (Pozos Colorados), Puerto Boyacá (Estación Vasconia), Barrancabermeja (Refinery), Sabana de Torres (Santander), Coveñas, Yumbo, Tumaco-Nariño (Tumaco Station), and Facatativá-Cundinamarca (Mansilla Station); thus positioning itself as a leading company in engineering and construction projects, providing high-quality services and complying with stringent safety standards.

With over 30 years of experience, we have been providing solutions to the Oil and Gas sector, for which we have developed methodologies and procedures aimed at ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of our clients’ productive assets; contributing to local and national development and job creation, relying on highly qualified human resources and our own infrastructure equipped with technology aligned with our service processes.

Our purpose is to build and maintain the trust our clients have in our highly differentiated and personalized services, guaranteeing compliance with the legal framework and safety and quality standards.

DIMECAR SAS has developed, implemented, and obtained certification for an Integrated Management System, aligned with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards. These systems are currently certified by KIWA CQR SAS.
